E. Blair Warner Family Medicine Center
As a resident at Memorial, the E. Blair Warner Family Medicine Center will be the base for your ambulatory patient care continuity experience. This busy practice is home for both the resident and faculty physicians. We are conveniently located directly across the street from Memorial Hospital.
The center has 18 examination rooms, a surgical procedure room, an acute medical treatment room, a resident working area, a library/staffing area, a patient education room, and a large conference room. Our clinic population is diverse across medical conditions, ages, gender and ethnicity and includes large pediatrics and obstetrical panels. We continually strive to incorporate preventive medicine into our patient care, and we use a fully integrated electronic health record system.
Two family medicine physicians, either faculty or community preceptors, staff each clinic session and are readily available to discuss patient care, teach and supervise office procedures. Your obstetrics and gynecology education is enhanced by having our Obstetrics preceptors also staff in the clinic several times per week. Behavioral science precepting in the clinic supports the development of strong patient-physician relationships and communication skills.
